rongrong.project was founded in Vietnam in 2024 with a simple wish: to create bags that are minimal, highly functional, and durable enough to accompany you every day. Each product is thoughtfully made, from carefully selecting the materials to paying close attention to every step of the sewing process, with much of the work completed by hand.
The name “rongrong” is inspired by the Vietnamese expressions rong rong and rong ruổi, carrying a sense of roaming, wandering, and moving freely from one place to another. We hope each bag will accompany you through everyday moments as well as new journeys, whether it’s an ordinary day at work or a trip worth remembering.
“rongrong” is also a reflection of our own journey — gradually connecting with you, not only through our bags but also through a shared appreciation for a way of living and for preserving the moments that are uniquely yours. Along the way, there will be times when we may not do everything perfectly. That is why “project” is part of our name — a reminder that this will always be a small, ongoing project, one that continues to learn, listen, and become better each day.
